I am not as happy with this song as some of my more recent projects but after spending a week trying to tweak it I can't think of anything to ad or take away to improve it.
I recently have been having some relationship upheavals and this kinda came out one night after some nervousness induced sleep deprivation.

lyrics
Love scattered all around
you stare without a sound
you set your mind at ease
now that you don't have me
Your bedroom is empty you stare at the wall
and you think to yourself whats become of it all
but rest wont come easy before the dawn comes
the ribbons fly the parade.... has begun
So much for a broken heart
cut down before it starts
the blood from the cut runs deep
and drips to the pools of your sleep
Your bedroom is empty you stare at the walll
and you think to yourself whats become of it all
but rest wont come easy before the dawn comes
the ribbons fly the parade.... has begun
Love is a funny thing
it flies on broken wings
the truth that was in your heart
was known from the very start
Your bedroom is empty you stare at the wall
and you think to yourself whats become of it all
but rest wont come easy before the dawn comes
the ribbons fly the parade.... has begun
